A project born from the frustration of opening the news and seeing only negativity, wars and scandals.
Our story
La Bella Notizia was born in 2024 with a simple premise: the world is not as bad as the headlines make us believe. Every day extraordinary things happen — scientists who cure diseases, communities that restore ecosystems, people who help each other — but they rarely make the front page.
We built a platform that collects these stories from dozens of international sources, analyses them with a complex scoring algorithm to verify their positivity, and translates and adapts them so anyone can enjoy them.
We are not a news agency, nor do we pretend to ignore the world's problems. We are an antidote to the negativity bias that affects all media: the human tendency to pay more attention to bad news than to good.

We monitor over 30 international positive news sources every 6 hours.
AI filters
Gemini AI scores each story from 1 to 10 on positivity. Only stories that pass the filter are published.
We write
We translate and adapt each story with a positive and accessible tone.
